The HIVE Blackburn & Darwen Business Awards celebrate and reward the outstanding work of local businesses and inspirational individuals working in different sectors across Blackburn & Darwen.

The HIVE Blackburn & Darwen Business Awards are back for 2020.

The awards feature 24 categories for businesses across all sectors, as well as awards for individual entrepreneurs and services.

The awards are judged by a panel made up of internal and external representatives. Judges will read and pre-score all entry forms, considering any supporting materials submitted. All judges pre-scores will be combined and the highest scoring entries will determine the shortlists. Judges will meet to discuss the highest scoring entries and agree the winner for each category. Shortlisted companies from the individual business categories are required to attend a short, face to face interview.

Important Dates:

27th March - Entry Deadline

30th April - Judging Session

1st May - Shortlist Announced

25th June - Awards Ceremony - King George's Hall, Blackburn
