Festival of Making Wins Prestigious Award

The National Festival of Making has been awarded yet another accolade, this time the title of "Best Non-Music Festival 2018" at the UK Festival Awards.
The Festival of Making is a uniquely innovative fixture on the UK festivals calendar. Started in 2017, it has become a yearly event, and is an opportunity for major industry, contemporary artists, diverse communities, artisan and modern makers to come together.
Approximately 40,000 people attended the 2018 edition. The Festival provides a platform for people of all ages to participate in an array of making activities, encounter outdoor performances, innovations in science and technology and art installations alongside the finest in food, drink and handmade design.
