29 November 2024 by Michelle

Crowdfund Lancashire gives anyone a chance to create local culture and sport projects and support the projects which matter most to them. Attend a drop in session and submit your idea or project for The Spring Round 2025 before the 6th February 2025.

Crowdfund Lancashire's Spring Funding Round 2025 now open

If you have an idea for a project to improve the culture or sport offer in your local community, then you could get up to £15,000 towards your target from the Lancashire Culture and Sport Fund.

Crowdfund Lancashire gives local communities and individuals a chance to create and support the projects which matter most to them. It will enable everyone to contribute towards their community - chipping in as little as £2 to help bring ideas to life.

Crowdfund Lancashire are working in partnership with Spacehive to create, fund and deliver your project idea. Spacehive are the UK's leading community crowdfunding platform. Please note Spacehive may make operational decisions that are outside Lancashire County Council's control but the Crowdfund Lancashire team endeavour to communicate these changes to donors and project creators.

Project Creators have until 6 February 2025 to create a project page, submit your pitch and submit your project for verification. Your project will be reviewed and needs to be verified prior to launching your campaign publicly on Spacehive

The Crowdfund Lancashire panel will assess all pitches to the Lancashire Culture and Sport fund in the final week of February 2025. Please note, if your project delivery date takes place before the end of February 2025 you will not be able to access funding from Lancashire County Council as pledge decisions and funding cannot be agreed and allocated on an ad hoc basis.

Before starting a project, please make sure you read the eligibility criteria for Spring 2025 funding round.

The Crowdfund Lancashire team are here to support your crowdfunding journey from the start and have created guidance notes for every step of the process:
