One week left to apply for our Achates Community Bursary Programme. Anyone can apply for a bursary no matter what your age, background or where you work.
Achates are offering 50 places for a free one-year membership to Achates Community from across the UK and Ireland with 20 places ring-fenced for applicants from England, 10 from Scotland, 10 from Wales, 10 from Northern Ireland, and 10 from Ireland from October 2024.
Achates Community is a leadership and personal development programme for all cultural sector professionals responsible for income generation. Designed for fundraisers, income innovation professionals, producers, artists, Executive Directors, and CEOs, Achates Community offers a holistic, purpose-led and audience-informed approach to all of the elements needed to support successful income generation - from audience consultation to programme design and evaluation, working with Boards, best practice approaches to all of the areas of contributed income as well as new income sources, to devising fundraising and purpose-led commercial income innovation strategies.
Anyone can apply for a bursary no matter what your age, background or where you work. We have made the process as simple as possible and everyone who applies will be offered a minimum of a free three-month trial. Assessment will be made on the basis of financial need and a short section articulating what you would like to get from Achates Community and how you would like to apply the learning on a personal or professional basis. We will also aim to ensure a representative group of beneficiaries so are asking you to share any protected characteristics you identify as having and feel comfortable to tell us about (including class). All decisions are final and no individual feedback will be given.
