Curious Minds have published an open letter to Gavin Williamson to encourage a post covid ‘Summer of Creativity’ for children and young people. We have a nation of children and young people that have adapted quickly and valiantly to virtual, online learning with a level of resilience that only children can show. That said, there is widespread concern about the impact of Covid-19 restrictions on their mental health and wellbeing.

As part of PEC's research agenda on the industry’s response to COVID-19, they partnered with the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for Creative Diversity to consult Industry Champions and APPG partners on the impact of the pandemic on diversity in their organisations and sectors. Panelists came from a wide range of sectors including tech, performing arts, publishing, music, film, architecture, dance and visual arts.

Crafts Council UK have launched a new creative business training programme for emerging makers. 26 Participants will be selected to take part in Crafting Business, a free 4-month programme starting in May. Deadline to apply is 31st March 2021.
