BackA series of multicultural, multi-lingual, intergenerational inclusive events, reflecting the aspirations of Manchester’s Pan-African community and that of the region.
This festival of PanAfrican themed events and activities in Manchester is an effort to commemorate the Pan-African Congress held in Manchester 75 years ago, with a long term aim to inspire the creation of a movement to promote and encourage self-determination and self-realisation of the UK’s African diaspora.
The online, digital festival will involve the education, promotion and celebration of PanAfrican Arts, Culture and Being. Incorporating debates, forums, seminars, exhibitions, performances with the aim to enlighten and develop the establishment of a new cultural practice for the African and Caribbean diaspora of Manchester the region and the world.
From the 17th – 24th of October 2021, you will be able to live stream festival events from this website. You can also access tickets to a number of the talks and discussions. First come, first served.

SEE MY WORLD is led by Big People Community CIC, in collaboration with Project Partners and supporters include, Manchester Metropolitan University, Manchester School of Theatre, CONTACT, Manchester International Festival, Manchester City Council, Arts Council England, European Social Fund, Big People Music, Young Identity, STUN, The Ahmed Iqbal Ullah Race Relation Resource Education Trust, local creatives and the Manchester public. See My World is part of the city-wide celebration of the Pan African Congress, working with and including PAC@75 facilitated by Manchester Metropolitan University.
