The theme of the second Northern Design Festival is Transparency. Join the #NDF2025 eam at multiple events across Lancaster City Centre from 15-17 May 2025.
This year's theme is Transparency. It's about sharing challenges and lessons to create an honest community within our industry. At NDF, we aim to break down barriers by encouraging the sharing of experiences. By making them visible, we hope to normalise struggles, foster understanding, and unite through shared experiences.

About the Northern Design Festival
in October 2024. At the time, our team was fully student-led. As students, we experienced first-hand the lack of creative opportunities in the North and wanted to make a change. With a soul mission to provide free and accessible opportunities, we are allowing people from all backgrounds to be able to enter the industry and emerge as successful creatives.
